How to Recover Deleted Text Messages on Android?

Using the touch-based Android smartphone when playing, accidentally deleting SMS has changed a lot. Thanks to my little girl's "help", I lost SMS messages to more than 30 important business partners. Install and Run the Android SMS Recovery Program
Please download the installation package first via above links. Then install it on the computer by following the default wizard. The software will be open immediately after the installation is finished.

Enable USB Debugging

For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Go to Settings < Developer options < Check USB debugging

For Android 4.2 or newer: Go to Settings < About Phone < Tap Build number for several times until getting a note 'You are under developer mod' < Back to Settings < Developer options < Check USB debugging.

Scan and analyze your Android phone

Click the Start button on the Home screen to let the software scan the previously deleted missing messages. Make sure the battery capacity exceeds 30% because it takes some time to complete the scan. In addition, the software requires you to grant superuser privileges to continue the next step.

Preview and start recovering lost messages

After the scan is complete, the list of items will be displayed on different categories. Click the message delivery option on the left menu bar, and then expand all the messages stored on the device, including the current list and deleted messages. Red marks the missing information and can be recovered via Android Data Recovery. Click the "Restore" button at the bottom of the screen to start the recovery process.
